Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Perseus Research FZCO (“Perseus,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates, collects, uses, stores, shares, and otherwise processes information provided to us or generated in connection with the Analyst Support Services Agreement (the “Agreement”) and related services. By entering into the Agreement, submitting information to Perseus, or otherwise engaging with our services, dashboards, communication channels, or platforms, you (the “Client” or “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy.
1. SCOPE AND APPLICATION
This Policy applies to all information provided to, collected by, generated by, or otherwise made available to Perseus in connection with the Agreement and the provision of Services, including information provided during onboarding, through ongoing communications, via third-party platforms, or through any other means. This Policy applies regardless of the format or medium in which information is provided, and covers information transmitted electronically, verbally, or in writing.
By submitting any information to Perseus—whether directly, through our platforms, via email, messaging applications, web-based dashboards, registration forms, or any other channel—you expressly consent to the collection, use, processing, storage, transfer, and sharing of such information as described in this Policy and as may be reasonably necessary for the provision of our Services and the operation of our business.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Perseus may collect and process a broad range of information in connection with the Services, including but not limited to the following categories:
2.1 Personal and Identity Information: Full legal name, date of birth, nationality, country of residence, address, email address, telephone number, tax identification number, government-issued identification documents, and any other identifying information provided in the Client Registration Form or otherwise communicated to Perseus.
2.2 Financial and Account Information: Bank account details, payment information, transaction records, invoices, account balances, withdrawal records, profit and loss statements, evaluation costs, Prop Firm account data, trading performance data, Face Values, Implied Rewards, Net Realised Withdrawals, and any other financial data provided to or generated in connection with the Services.
2.3 Business and Operational Information: Prop Firm nomination details, account identifiers, trading strategies, analyst methodologies, business plans, operational processes, and correspondence relating to the Client’s Analyst Business.
2.4 Communications Data: All communications between the Client and Perseus, including emails, messages transmitted via messaging platforms (including but not limited to WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, or any similar service), telephone calls, and any content shared through Perseus’s web-based reporting dashboard or other platforms.
2.5 Technical and Usage Data: IP addresses, browser type, device information, access logs, session data, usage patterns, and analytics data generated through the Client’s use of Perseus’s dashboards, platforms, or digital services.
2.6 Third-Party Data: Information obtained from third-party sources, including Prop Firms, payment processors, financial institutions, publicly available databases, and any other sources reasonably connected to the provision of Services.
2.7 Derived and Analytical Data: Any data, analyses, models, reports, insights, or other outputs derived from or generated using any of the foregoing categories of information.
This list is illustrative and not exhaustive. Perseus reserves the right to collect and process any information reasonably connected to the Services or the operation of its business.
3. USE OF INFORMATION
Perseus may use the information collected for any purpose connected with or ancillary to the provision of Services and the operation of its business. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, information may be used for the following purposes:
(a) providing, maintaining, improving, and developing the Services and our analytical capabilities; (b) calculating and invoicing fees, including the Monthly Service Fee, Performance Fee, and Setup Fee; (c) monitoring and analysing the Client’s performance in connection with the Services; (d) communicating with the Client regarding the Services, account matters, and business operations; (e) complying with applicable legal, regulatory, and tax obligations; (f) enforcing the terms of the Agreement, including confidentiality and non-disclosure provisions; (g) conducting internal research, analytics, modelling, and business development activities; (h) improving and training our analytical models, algorithms, and signal generation systems; (i) preparing aggregated, anonymised, or de-identified datasets for research, benchmarking, and analytical purposes; (j) protecting the rights, property, and safety of Perseus, its personnel, clients, and business partners; and (k) any other purpose that Perseus determines, in its sole discretion, to be reasonably connected to the foregoing.
4. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
By providing information to Perseus and entering into the Agreement, you expressly consent to the sharing and disclosure of your information with the following categories of recipients and for the purposes described below:
4.1 Business Partners and Affiliates: Perseus may share information with its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, associated entities, and business partners for purposes connected with the provision of Services, business operations, research, analytics, product development, and any other legitimate business purpose. “Business partners” includes, without limitation, technology providers, data analytics firms, financial consultants, referral partners, financing partners, and any other parties with whom Perseus maintains a commercial relationship.
4.2 Service Providers: Perseus may share information with third-party service providers engaged to perform functions on our behalf, including payment processors, cloud hosting providers, IT infrastructure providers, communication platform providers, accounting firms, and legal advisors.
4.3 Professional Advisors: Perseus may disclose information to its legal counsel, auditors, accountants, tax advisors, and other professional advisors as necessary for the conduct of its business.
4.4 Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Perseus may disclose information where required or permitted by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where Perseus believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect its legal rights, enforce the Agreement, comply with judicial or administrative proceedings, or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
4.5 Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, sale of assets, or similar transaction involving Perseus, information may be transferred to the acquiring or successor entity.
4.6 Aggregated and De-Identified Data: Perseus may share aggregated, anonymised, or de-identified data with any third party for any purpose, including commercial, research, and marketing purposes. Such data shall not reasonably identify any individual Client.
4.7 With Consent: Perseus may share information with any other party where the Client has provided express or implied consent to such sharing.
Perseus does not impose specific limitations on the purposes for which business partners may use shared information, except as may be required by applicable law. Clients are encouraged to review the privacy practices of any third parties with whom they interact.
5. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Perseus is headquartered in the United Arab Emirates and provides Services remotely from the UAE. By entering into the Agreement and providing information to Perseus, you expressly consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United Arab Emirates and in any other jurisdiction where Perseus, its affiliates, or its service providers maintain operations. These jurisdictions may not provide the same level of data protection as your country of residence. Perseus shall take commercially reasonable steps to ensure that information transferred internationally is treated in accordance with this Policy.
6. DATA RETENTION
Perseus shall retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including for the duration of the Agreement, any applicable survival periods (including the five-year confidentiality survival period under Section 9 of the Agreement), and any period thereafter as required to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting obligations. Perseus may retain aggregated, anonymised, or de-identified data indefinitely for research, analytical, and business purposes.
Upon the expiry of the applicable retention period, Perseus shall delete or anonymise information in accordance with its internal data management procedures. Perseus is not obligated to delete information that has been incorporated into aggregated or anonymised datasets.
7. DATA SECURITY
Perseus shall implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and Perseus cannot guarantee the absolute security of information. The Client acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks associated with the electronic transmission and storage of information.
8. CLIENT RIGHTS
Depending on your jurisdiction of residence, you may have certain rights under applicable data protection legislation, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or port your personal data. To exercise any such rights, you may submit a written request to Perseus at the contact details provided below. Perseus shall respond to valid requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate business interests. Perseus reserves the right to verify the identity of any person making such a request and to charge a reasonable administrative fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Client acknowledges that certain information may be retained by Perseus as permitted or required by applicable law, for the fulfilment of contractual obligations, or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
9. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Perseus’s web-based reporting dashboard and digital platforms may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies to collect technical and usage data. By accessing these platforms, you consent to the use of such technologies. You may adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, though this may affect the functionality of certain features.
10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
The Services may include links to or integrations with third-party websites, platforms, or services. Perseus is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third parties. The Client is encouraged to review the privacy policies of any third-party services they access.
11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Services are not directed at individuals under the age of eighteen (18). Perseus does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Perseus reserves the right to amend, update, or replace this Policy at any time by providing notice to the Client via email or through Perseus’s platforms. Continued use of the Services or continued provision of information to Perseus following such notice shall constitute the Client’s acceptance of the amended Policy. It is the Client’s responsibility to review this Policy periodically.
13. CONSENT AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By entering into the Agreement, submitting information to Perseus, or otherwise engaging with the Services, you:
(a) expressly consent to the collection, use, processing, storage, transfer, and sharing of all information provided to or generated by Perseus in connection with the Services, as described in this Policy;
(b) acknowledge that Perseus will have access to all information provided by you and may use such information for any purpose described in this Policy;
(c) consent to the sharing of your information with Perseus’s business partners, affiliates, service providers, and other third parties as described in Section 4;
(d) acknowledge that the provision of information to Perseus is voluntary but that failure to provide certain information may impact Perseus’s ability to provide the Services; and
(e) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy.
